About Me

Dedicated to her craft, Danie Buchanan is the media industry’s next big thing, and she is determined to make it to the top. Danie Buchanan was born on Jan 24 1988, in Eastpoint GA. She grew up east of Atlanta, and graduated from Newton High School in 2006. Danie went on to college and graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in Multimedia Communication in May 2010.

While at GSU, Danie hosted many campus productions including the Mr. GSU Pageant and the Multicultural Student Center’s Essence Awards. She was an on air personality and news anchor for WVGS 91.9 the Buzz, she worked to provide a live webcast and megatron footage of all GSU home games, and she could be seen on GSU’s Channel 97 as a news reporter and anchor. She also became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

In August 2010, she began interning in various departments at Clear Channel Radio in Atlanta, GA, where she currently works as a traffic producer and anchor for Total Traffic Network. Danie is focused on taking her career to new heights, and excited about all that is to come.
